Alex makes a horrible mess when he eats - so we've been trying to have him vacuum up his mess.

Today I put the swing together and Alex made sure it worked with a bear in it :)

I had ordered something from someone on etsy & it arrived today. Thankfully, even though the box was crushed, the contents were still inside.

Tom hung up the shades in the boys' rooms today. Could this help them sleep in on the weekends?

Alex and Anthony got haircuts today - Alex asked for a mohawk so here's his mohawk. When I was trying to get a good picture he moved close enough to the doorway so that I was in it too :)

I think I have finally made friends with my sewing machine. I've been trying to catch up on some projects that I've been putting off.

I had meant to get a picture of the front of the movie theater when we went to go see Iron Man 2, but I forgot. So while we were sitting at Sonic waiting for our food I tried to take a couple of pictures.

We ran some errands today, one stop we made was JoAnn's for some yarn so I could attempt to make a fringe blanket for a photo prop for when the baby gets here.

This was a t-shirt that Tom no longer wanted - the boys loved it so we decided to make it into a pillow for them. My sewing machine didn't want to cooperate with me enough to complete the project so I had to finish it by hand.

The boys getting their soccer trophies from their coaches this afternoon. They had their tournament/fun day. Tommy had 1 game at 9:55 am which they won, after ending the game in a tie. So, we went to a shoot-out (which incidentally is exactly how the last tournament game ended too, but they lost the shoot-out). Since they won we had to come back for another game at 12:30, Anthony's fun day game was at 1:15. So thankfully the timing worked out. Tommy's team lost their 2nd game, but only by 1 point. Anthony's team lost too, but they had fun. Right after Anthony's game we had to run to the commissary and get chips and juice bags for the parties. Tommy's party started at 3pm and we got home from Anthony's game at 2:40. Then we had Anthony's party at 4pm. Thankfully they were in the same area.

Dr appointment at the naval hospital. We did some paperwork for the c-section and set a date.

Alex was upset that Tommy got to go outside to play with his friends after dinner so I took him outside to play for a bit. He loves bubbles.

We seem to have this unspoken "rule" that if we go shopping at Target on a Friday after work + school that we stop by Sonic for food. After we finished eating Tom + I each got a shake, l.o.v.e. their banana shakes - yummy.

Tom's 30th birthday. We don't usually do much for either of our birthdays but after a late lunch/early dinner at Macaroni Grill we asked for some Tiramisu to bring home. So when we got home we threw some candles in it and sang :)

Soccer Saturday. This Saturday morning we had Anthony's game at 9:15 and Tommy's at 9:30. Thankfully they were on fields right next to each other, so we sat in between the fields. Too bad though we were on the "wrong side" for both teams. lol Anthony's team lost, but Tommy's team won! Next Saturday is our last regular game of the season.

I cleaned out one of my dresser drawers for baby clothes. I've been trying to figure out the best way to store them all without making it too complicated. I'm sure I'll change it again.

Day 112

Today his knee was feeling better and when I told him he needed a bath he got a bit upset with me and suggested taking a shower instead. I didn't think he would, but he got in there and took a shower.

Alex woke up complaining that his leg hurt him. We waited about an hour to see if the pain went away, when it didn't we made a call to the dr and got an appt. We got xrays done and no firm diagnosis. We came home with a wrapped knee and some motrin and directions to rest.

Tommy's 8:15am soccer game on Saturday morning. We left everyone else at home sleeping and headed Mainside at 7:25am.

I've been trying to score some better deals at the grocery store by using more coupons. This trip to Ralphs cost me just $5.69.

Poor guy got this plastic hammer stuck around his finger. His finger was getting pretty swollen by the time he finally told me, I wasn't sure if I was going to be able to get it off. Thankfully with a bit of water it slid right off.
