Day 34 - 40

I swear I've been keeping up with taking a photo every day! It does happen, some days require more thought and some staging to get a photo of something, but I do take a moment every day and try to record something meaningful to us for that particular day.

Day 34

February 3 ... Alex sitting waiting for Tommy to be finished up at the dentist. We found these Chuck's of Tommy's in the hall closet and decided we should try them on. Alex was extremely pleased to find out that they fit.

Day 35

February 4 ... Tom's boots chilling by the front door after he got out of the field for the day.

Day 36

February 5 ... On this Friday I had a pretty bad headache and convinced the boys that this was the day to try to walk to school on their own. I promised that it was just a trial and that I would watch them walk nearly 1/2-way to school. They survived the walk, lived to see another day, in fact...they have walked to school on their own each day since then :)

Day 37

February 6 ... During our outing we stopped to grab the boys some Burger King on the way back home. Tom asked the cashier for some crowns and he sported one the rest of the way home :)

Day 38

February 7 ... The title to the Dodge Stratus. It's been signed off of from the bank and we received it in the mail. We paid it off when we got our income tax refund - over a full year early. It will be a shock to not have to make that payment every month anymore.

Day 39

February 8 ... The boys walked themselves to school again on this morning. One advantage to this is that Alex gets to sleep in and wake up when he's ready.

Day 40

February 9 ... Alex playing with connectagons this afternoon just before it was time to leave to go get the boys from school.
