Anyway...onto the photos...Just a fair warning - this post will be image heavy :)
Day 49

Tommy went to spend the night at a friend's house.
Day 50

I awoke to finding Anthony & Alex downstairs camped out on the couch with all their blankets and stuffed animals everywhere.
Day 51

Today was the day we had Alex open his birthday presents since Dad was in the field over his actual birthday. He loved everything and I am glad I captured the look on his face when he opened the DS game from his Aunt Jackie and cousin Jason. I wish it was a better photo, but his face is priceless.
Day 52

Blowing out the candles on his birthday ice cream with a double chocolate chunk cookie :)
Day 53

I ordered a few goodies for Little Miss off of Etsy and was so excited to see them in person. I'm almost glad that all this stuff is a bit pricey, or else I just might have purchased enough for her to wear a new one every day of the her first year. lol
Day 54

We opened a package of girl scout cookies that we bought from a friend and were shocked that we spent $4 on a box of cookies that only had 15 cookies! The boys had that package gone in less than 5 minutes.
Day 55

We had a 15lb box from our good friend Sam arrive. I was astonished to see that she crammed that box full of clothes. I am so thankful that she took the time (and money) to sort through what she had and send us some things.
Day 56

Anthony woke up this morning feeling pretty miserable, so he stayed home from school. I let him curl up in our bed and watch some movies on Netflix.
Day 57

We picked up the wood we needed to make the risers for the washer and dryer. The boys were really itching to help paint, so we let them help for a few minutes.
Day 58

These are the risers we made. They were pretty simple to make and I'm glad that I found Ana White's blog Knock-Off Wood that inspired me to tackle this project. They don't look especially pretty, but they are more functional than a focal point. They serve their purpose and we learned for next time.
Day 59

Shirley and Steve gathered their family to celebrate the February and March birthdays. Tom got all 3 boys to sit with him (for a brief second) while they were getting everything together.
The first 3 days of March will make it in a post of their own.
